Made with chilled Coffeeway Vanilla Hazelnut coffee, a ripe banana, and a scoop of protein-packed vanilla or coffee-flavoured powder, this shake is not only tasty but also packed with nutrients. The addition of Greek yogurt and a touch of hazelnut or almond butter adds a delightful creaminess and healthy fats, making it an ideal post-workout recovery drink or a satisfying breakfast option. Plus, with the optional sweetness of honey or maple syrup, you can customize it to your taste. Follow this easy recipe to enjoy a refreshing and energizing shake that will keep you fuelled and focused all day long.

Method

  1. Brew your coffee with a Coffeeway coffeebag and allow it to chill in the fridge. For a stronger coffee flavour, make it a bit stronger than you would normally drink.
  2. In a blender, combine the chilled coffee, frozen banana, protein powder, Greek yogurt, nut butter, and vanilla extract. If you like your shake a bit sweeter, add honey or maple syrup to taste.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thick, you can add a little more coffee or some milk of your choice to thin it out. If it’s not thick enough, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
  4. Taste your shake and adjust the sweetness or intensity of the coffee as needed by adding more honey/maple syrup or coffee.
  5. Pour the shake into a large glass or shaker. If desired, you can sprinkle a little cinnamon or cocoa powder on top. Drink immediately!

  • 1 cup coffee, made from Coffeeway vanilla hazelnut bag, chilled
  • 1 ripe banana (frozen for extra creaminess - peel and slice before freezing)
  • 1 scoop vanilla or coffee-flavored protein powder
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut or almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey or maple syrup / a few ice cubes (if you prefer a colder and thicker texture)
