Biscoff Style Frappe

The Boone brothers created the Biscoff flavour in Belgium in 1932. Their caramelised biscuit recipe uses natural ingredients like cinnamon, brown sugar, and sunflower oil. The confectionary paired well with coffee forming the name Biscoff: biscuit and coffee.

We decided to create our creamy, Biscoff inspired frappe after McDonalds discontinued theirs In June 2024. We make our frappe with Beanies Caramelised Biscuit instant coffee. It also includes a blend of spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla. This combination creates the unique taste.

Our frappe recipe is guilt free. Our Caramelised Biscuit flavour is low calorie and has no sugar. A healthier way to enjoy Biscoff.

Method

  1. In a blender, combine the chilled coffee, unsweetened milk, your chosen sweetener, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla extract, and ice cubes.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and frothy. Adjust the consistency by adding more ice for thickness or more milk for thinning, as needed.
  3. Pour the blended frappe into a large glass (add a touch of melted Biscoff spread to the base, if desired). If desired, top with whipped cream and biscuits, or sprinkle over a touch more cinnamon for a lower sugar choice. Serve immediately.

Coffee beans
Ingredients :
  • 3/4 cup Beanie’s caramelised biscuit coffee, brewed to strength desired and chilled
  • 1/4-1/2 cup unsweetened cashew milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar or sweetener of choice (or to taste), OR low sugar caramel syrup to taste
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Dash of ground nutmeg
  • Dash of ground ginger
  • 1 tsp tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Small pinch of salt
  • Optional: Whipped cream, Biscoff spread and Biscoff biscuits to serve. Omit for lower sugar
